The TD Toronto Jazz Festival is one of Toronto’s largest music festivals and one of North America’s premier jazz festivals. Jazz Fest attracts in excess of 500,000 loyal patrons annually over 10 days as more than 1,500 musicians entertain all across the city. I joined the team in 2022 as the Director of Festival Operations and was charged with revitalizing the Festival in a post-pandemic environment. Currently, I service as the Vice President of Talent & Business Development. Booked 2023 headliners Ashanti and Badbadnotgood resulting in record-high audience attendance at the festival's outdoor main stage.
ROLE:
- Starting in 2022, led operations, overseeing P&L, budget forecasting, talent booking, marketing, and business development to ensure seamless execution of multi-million-dollar budgets and strategic initiatives.
- Oversaw the strategic initiatives including rebranding, programming to new a audience, enhancing fan experience, and developing opportunities for ew brand partnerships
- From 2017-2020, was a key member of the Artistic Advisory Committee for Toronto Jazz Festival. In 2018, we formed a partnership under Fource with Toronto Jazz Festival’s Music Team to support the curation and programming strategy for emerging artists and untraditional bookings. Together, we produced the festival’s first-ever Industry Showcase to highlight the talents of up-and-coming artists.
