The first ever Abu Dhabi Showdown Week features the most awaited UFC fight of 2019 - UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Dustin Poirier and marked first-ever performances in UAE by global superstars. Events took place at The Arena, a purpose-built venue on Yas Island holding upwards of 13,000 spectators.

OUR ROLE:

• We were brought on by Endeavor (IMG) to support UFC & Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture & Tourism in promoting the headlining music concerts. Tasked with directing the Music & Booking Strategy for the headlining events at The Arena in the days leading up to fight night. Negotiated artists' deals and oversaw marketing campaigns and artist relations. Booked Red Hot Chili Peppers and J Balvin for their first-ever concerts in UAE. (J Balvin later cancelled due to sickness)
